Other types of firms are expected to occupy the Campus, taking advantage of it’s riverfront location next to existing employment centers, alternative transportation and unburdened road network. With a wide range of partners and potential tenants, this collaborative environment will advance the study and applied science of water research for the international community. The Water Campus is being developed in partnership with the Louisiana and East Baton Rouge Parish governments, the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, Louisiana universities and nonprofits. The campus will provide space for basic and applied research, academic functions, public education resources and displays, and administrative offices, all sufficient enough to meet current and anticipated future needs.
